Erie Insurance has independent insurance agents in 12 states selling auto, home and business insurance. Empire Agency was established in 2008 in Binghamton, New York. Brian Stout (the principal agent) says, “We provide a service to our clients first and an insurance policy second. We strive to educate our customers by explaining the differences in their choices and offering different options to help them secure the best coverage for their needs.” The staff enjoys seeing their clients and welcomes those who have more in-depth insurance needs.
Brian has more than 10 years of insurance experience and is licensed in both New York and Pennsylvania. “We believe that choosing an insurance agency is more than what policy you have or what price you pay,” he says. “Our clients have trusted us to continue serving them because we strive to make a positive difference in their lives.” Brian and his six-member staff believe that in order to educate their customers, they must continue to educate themselves. Many of the Empire Agency staff members hold the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation as well as participate in classes from the Certified Insurance Service Representatives (CISR).
Once in Binghamton, the agency is located on Front Street in the same building as Lawsons Hearing Center.
